National minimum wage increases

From April 2017, National Minimum Wage rates will increased from:

  • £7.20 to £7.50 an hour for workers aged 25 and over
  • £6.95 to £7.05 an hour for workers aged 21 to 24
  • £5.55 to £5.60 an hour for workers aged 18 to 20
  • £4.00 to £4.05 an hour for workers aged 16 to 17
  • £3.40 to £3.50 an hour for apprentices
