Make Your Will Month - 2007

Hand Morgan & Owen teamed up with Katharine House Hospice during the month of May to provide a free basic will for supporters of the hospice. Nine wills were done for free, regardless of whether the supporter chose to leave a gift to the Hospice service or make a donation on the day.

Many people don’t even consider making a will until late in life and may not even think of what happens to their estate in event of their death. Some people may have made a will years ago and have simply not got around to amending it as and when necessary. Many people choose to support their favourite charities after death by leaving a legacy or gift in their will.

Head of Fundraising, Lisa Taylor commented: ‘Katharine House Hospice is heavily reliant on the donations that supporters leave us in their will. These gifts whatever their size, enable us to plan for the future and help us to continue our work and develop and extend the range of services we provide.’

For information about making a will contact Peter Harris in Stafford on 01785 211 411 or Shani Carr in Rugeley on 01889 583 871.
